About SDEN

The AI engineering partner
that ships its proof.

SDEN is a remote-first AI engineering partner for US and Canadian teams. We design, secure, build, and sell production AI — on a senior software, security, and cloud foundation — and we run four AI products in production as the proof of the engineering we sell.

Why we exist

Why
SDEN exists.

The software industry is full of vendors who sell engineering and outsource it. The pattern is familiar: a polished proposal, a senior architect at the kickoff, then a quiet handoff to a junior team that has never seen production at scale. The client signs for engineering, pays for engineering, and receives something else. That gap is the reason most enterprise software projects miss their targets — and the reason most internal teams who have ever inherited 'finished' software from a vendor flinch when a new vendor walks in the door.

SDEN exists to close that gap. We are an engineering-led partner where the same senior people who scope the project write the code, secure the system, and operate it through launch. There is no offshore bench, no junior shuffle, no architect-on-paper who disappears after the contract is signed. The category we are building is engineering-led partners that ship their own products as the visible proof of the work — and we run four of them.

The proof philosophy

We run our own products as
the proof.

Real Estate, Lead Manager, Beauty, and University Portal are not marketing samples. They are SaaS products that we designed, built, secured, and operate in production for real businesses. We chose to run our own products for a specific reason: consulting teaches you what to recommend, but only operating production software teaches you what survives. Pager rotations, billing edge cases, customer-data exports under deadline, the slow accumulation of small architectural decisions that decide whether a product can still ship a feature in year three — those lessons are not transferable from theory. They have to be lived.

Every client engagement at SDEN inherits that operational scar tissue. When we recommend a database engine, we have run it under load. When we propose a deployment model, we have woken up at 3 a.m. for the version we are not recommending. When we write a security control, it is the version we wish someone had told us about before we shipped the first one. The proof is not in the testimonials on the homepage — it is in the architectural choices we make on day one of your project, and in our own products that you can navigate to and use today.

If you want to see what we ship, do not read this page. Read the work page, then open one of the products and use it. That is what SDEN is selling.

How we work

How we work —
the short version.

Small senior team. No junior bench. No offshoring of the work we sell. The same people from the first architecture diagram to the production release. Four deliberate engagement phases — scoping and architecture, design and prototyping, development and hardening, delivery and support — each producing concrete artifacts you can walk away with. Code in your repositories from day one. Documentation written for the next engineer who joins your team, not for the project manager to file.

The long version is on the approach page. The disciplines are not unusual — code review on every change, end-to-end type safety, security as a posture not a phase. What is unusual is that we mean them, and we have the codebases to prove it.

Where we are

Serving the US & Canada,
deployed where you need it.

SDEN is a remote-first partner that works with clients across the United States, Canada, and beyond. We deploy in your region — US, Canada, or EU — on AWS (us-east- / ca-central-), GCP (us- / northamerica-), or Azure, depending on the workload and the residency requirement. Our default posture is SOC 2 / CCPA / PIPEDA aligned, with PIPEDA + Quebec Law 25 covered for Canadian data subjects — relevant whenever the products we ship handle personal data on North American users.

Region selection follows the data-residency case, which is documented and signed before launch; we will not silently change the hosting region or jurisdiction on data we are responsible for.

Who we work with

The engagement shapes
we say yes to.

SDEN says yes to substantial software projects with an accountable decision-maker on the client side — products, platforms, integrations, audits, rebuilds. We say no to staff augmentation, to body-shopping, to engagements where the technical sponsor on the client side cannot make a call without escalating three layers up, and to projects whose primary requirement is to produce slides for a board.

The bar is not size — it is seriousness. A small project led by a decision-maker who knows what they want is more productive than a large project where the scope changes weekly. We work with a limited number of clients at a time precisely because the model depends on giving each engagement the senior attention we promise.
